  LOL One of those Days

  Well, the good humored Ally is now back. As I figured would happen. I say this because it's been a strange morning, and I'm laughing at it all the way.

  First off - I hardly slept last night. I kept waking up because of a combination of headache and cramping.. When I woke up, it was to find that damned period had finally arrived. Once again, Midol hasn't done much for either the headache or the cramps. Lol. Typical.

  Moving on, last night, mum said she would drive me to work this morning... But my step-dad didn't come home last night, and what I wasn't told is that without that car, there was no insured car at her place this morning... So! Mum gets up around 11am (and I'm supposed to be at work for 11:30), and tells me I need to try and catch a cab to work... *head-desk*

  So, of course, I'm totally freaking out that I'm going to be late! In rushing, I stepped on the little area by the door that has little staple-nail things sticking out... And then I rushed out without my jacket...

  Only to arrive at work and find out I was the first one here, and all the doors were locked. So then I got to stand around outside and wait for like ten minutes until my boss showed up.

  And that brings me to now. Not at all sure how things are going to go from here out. No idea if my step-dad is going to come back (although kinda hoping not) for Thanksgiving dinner.. Also, depending on how Patryk is, we may have to take dinner to go, since we can't risk infecting Nana. And we're supposed to be spending a first night at my new place.. So, things sound like they could be interesting.

  At least my hormones are back in balance enough that I have been able to laugh at everything so far. I just hope that someone remembers to pick me up from work today, since that is one thing I might not laugh so much at, considering I know that my co-workers will all be scattering the second work is done today - seeing as how it's a holiday.

  Oh well. Guess I just need to keep a grin on my face and push forward!
