Since I said I'd write about my awesome sauce weekend, I suppose I should do so before I get distracted by other things and ultimately get too lazy to do so. Lol.
Saturday. Oh, Saturday. <3
Saturday was wonderful! Although I still haven't figured out if Saturday was meant to be a date or not. I've been out of the dating scene for so long that I honestly am not sure. It sort of felt like a date? Taylor called it a psuedo-date, so I suppose that works just as well as anything else. lol.
Anyways! Patryk and I hit the beach together and walked around the board walk, which was extremely nice! We had the perfect weather for it - although we both ended up sun burnt pretty badly, lol. Before taking off to Langley, he ended up coming with me while I took care of Nana - which was extremely nice for me. I mean, someone that understands my duty to my family. Anyways, Nana ended up liking him, which is a huge bonus. Not that I'm surprised, Nana is just not always nice to prospective boyfriends... ^^;
We ended up stopping a few times before going to his place; I got to see Desi for the first time in ages, which was interesting. Apparently she's moving next month, which is a shame... And we stopped in to see Taylor, which was awesome, as always. <3
Anddd then we hung out at his place, watched the hockey game... Then went out for dinner, and then back to his place to watch some more shows... And cuddle. Did I mention cuddling? I like cuddling.... I very much enjoyed the cuddling. *blush*
I even gave him a kiss goodnight... Which I don't think he was expecting, but... I'd been wanting to kiss him all night. So, I decided to just go for it. I am not normally the type of girl who does that sort of thing on a first date, but I just couldn't ignore it anymore.
Ahem... Moving on...
Today was also a fun day! The little brother was over most of the day, and we found out that Psych was filming in the area - so we decided to stalk the film crew.
Fun was had by all!
Best part was meeting Diedrich Bader, from Office Space/Drew Carrey/Vampire's Suck. Mum and I were trying to sneak a photo and he just happened to notice us - and to our surprise, he smiled and waved. And THEN he came over to us, and we were actually worried we were gunna get in trouble for taking photos... But to our surprise, he shook hands with us and chatted a bit, andddd ended up letting mum take a photo of us together. It was quite the interesting experience! He was SO nice!
Well, you officially have made me into an even bigger fan, Mr.Bader. <3
And since then, I've had a chance to talk to Patryk. I'm still not 100% sure what we are, but... We're something. After we kind of established where our feelings were at, I told him the one think that I thought might make him change his mind about me.. And it didn't. So, I guess that means we're... Something. Either way, I'm far more happy than I can even describe at this point. I haven't felt my heart race like this in such a long time!
Oh yes, and this week is going to be insanity! In a good sort of way, though. :)
Tomorrow, Lisa, Patryk and (probably) my brother are coming over for the hockey game, which should be a hell of a good time! And Tuesday, if I can get my rides worked out, I'm supposed to be playing D&D with Alex and his friends; And Thursday I'm supposed to be going for another sleep over with Taylor and Corey, which means I'll be busy Friday as well. Not to mention that there will be more hockey games throughout the week, so lots of fun times appear to be coming up!
I've said it before and I'll say it again... Since Liam and I split up, life has been a hell of a lot more fun!
